UNSW Campus Tour
We created a living, breathing university prospectus where the user is in full control. This immersive experience shared 17 campus locations fused with graphics, a clickable HUD and 160 pieces of navigable information.
The inclusion of a live-action tour guide, a UNSW alumni, added a personal touch and helped deliver over 17,000 visitors in the first six months, enjoying an average dwell time of 6:45 — more than 6x the benchmark.
While the tour was primarily to be experienced via VR headset at education conferences throughout the Asia Pacific region, it was also ported to a mobile app, Google Cardboard, and an in-browser interface. Users could immerse themselves in the university from any device anywhere in the world.
